Smoky Quartz
Smoky Quartz is the new black.  From pale to dark, when faceted, it picks up light and subtly sparkles.  We recommend this as the "starter stone" for those new to semi-precious gems.  While it appears brown, try it with blacks, whites and a myriad of colors.

Blackened Silver

We use acid to change the chemistry and color of the surface of the silver.  This process is not the same as tarnishing, and will not be reversed with silver polish or cloth.  As you wear it, blackened silver will slowly change, becoming a soft matte gray.
